It looks like the double header of a lifetime may be on its way to the adult content site OnlyFans: Out Olympians Matthew Mitcham and Robbie Manson hinted at a "collab" on the platform.
"Did someone say collab? *OF* course!!" Mitcham posted on Instagram on Aug. 13.
"@robbie_manson, openly gay rower from New Zealand đź–¤," Mitcham added, with the caption accompanying a photo of the two athletes.
Mitcham, a competitive diver who hails from Australia, took the gold in the 2008 Olympics, becoming the first out athlete to do so. He became a reality TV star subsequent to his retirement in 2016. Mitcham joined the site, a platform where content creators may post explicit images, last year.
Manson, a rower from New Zealand, also headed to the platform last year. Announcing the move on his Instagram account, Manson explained that his OnlyFans account "helps support me financially while I'm pursuing my passion as an athlete" and promised fans "a fun and playful space where I can express myself creatively and promote body positivity, sensuality, and self-acceptance."
Manson quickly found OnlyFans a profitable means for funding his Olympic ambitions.
"I get more than double what I would be on otherwise as an athlete," Manson told Reuters last month. "I am making more from OnlyFans than I am from rowing at this stage," he said, before teasing that his OF account features "artistic nudes" and adding that "people need to subscribe if they want to know what's exactly on there."
Manson noted that it was Mitcham's presence on the site that had prompted him to sign up in turn.
The out rower pointed to "The fact that I'm gay, I have the gay following and the audience already, and I'm slightly leaning into that."
"I wouldn't say it's for everyone," Manson added of OnlyFans, though, he said, "there's definitely an opportunity there."
