Brussels Orgy Host Calls Out Police for Homophobic Comments During Raid

The man who hosted the Brussels orgy reported around the world last month has filed an official complaint about the police who raided the event.

"David Manzheley, who has hosted sex parties attended by high-ranking diplomats and officials for years, sent a complaint to the Belgian police watchdog, seen by De Standaard, after they raided one of his parties," PinkNews reports.

"The orgy made headlines when it emerged that Jzsef Szjer, a Hungarian MEP and a founding member of right-wing populist party Fidesz, was among those in attendance and was arrested for breaking coronavirus restrictions. He later resigned." In addition to Szjer the November 27th event, there were also two other diplomats amongst the 20 to 25 men in attendance.

Earlier this month Manzheley filed a complaint with Committee P, which is investigating possible police violence or misconduct in interventions, saying that police had "behaved particularly homophobic," writes De Standaard.

According to De Standaard, which has viewed the complaint, police officers insulted the party attendees with such terms "away with gays," "pussy gays," and "aids gays," amongst other insults. "Manzheley writes that the agents behaved like 'Gestapo in Nazi Germany.' "

The police, though, claim otherwise, who say they did not do anything wrong when shutting down the party for violating Belgium's coronavirus measures.

"On the basis of the information available to us, there is nothing to suggest that our staff behaved unprofessionally, racist or homophobic during this intervention," a police spokesperson told The Brussels Times.

Earlier this month Manzheley said the partygoers first mistook police officers as late-arriving guests, thinking they were "part of the fun." Some even tried to "unzip their pants."

Though Szjer saw the police, he reportedly tried to jump out of the apartment window. "My apartment is on the second floor, so it was too high to jump out onto the street," Manzheley told the Polish website Onet. Reports circulated that he attempted to climb down a drainpipe; instead, Szjer stayed in the apartment and was taken by the police.

"Szjer was responsible for slipping an article into Hungary's constitution defining 'the institution of marriage as between a man and a woman' as 'the basis of the family and national survival,' " Pink News reported earlier this month.

The MEP resigned in disgrace last month after he was arrested at the 25-person gay sex party.
