Watch: Drip. Drip. Drip. Rudy Giuliani's Hair Dye Upstages Press Conference

Rudy Giuliani entertained viewers on Thursday with a press conference dealing with President Donald Trump's attempt to challenge the election results. The 90-minute event promised to be so incendiary that a news networks CNN and MSNBC refused to broadcast it, though it was seen on FOX, One America News Network and Newsmax. And it was immediately was slammed for inaccuracy. "The roughly 90-minute briefing was overflowing with falsehoods and conspiracy theories," wrote CNN in a fact check.

Chris Krebs, the Homeland Security official who was fired by Trump earlier this week, tweeted that the press conference was "the most dangerous 1hr 45 minutes of television in American history. And possibly the craziest. If you don't know what I am talking about, you're lucky," reported Deadline.

On Thursday, flanked by other members of the legal team, Mr. Giuliani said that they were taking legal action in Pennsylvania and Michigan, and were exploring their options in Virginia and New Mexico," reports the Independent.

"At no point did Trump's legal team offer any proof for their allegations of widespread fraud. Jenna Ellis, a legal adviser for the campaign, said the group was laying out an 'introductory statement' with more to come, and called the team an 'elite strike force,'" CNN adds. "Also working for the campaign, attorney Sidney Powell made extreme, baseless claims about communist Venezuela and George Soros supposedly interfering in the US election. Giuliani on multiple occasions made allegations citing individuals he said couldn't be revealed for their own safety and wellbeing.

"Many of their specific claims have already been refuted by federal election security experts and a wide, bipartisan array of election administrators across the country."

But why the National Review's Rich Lowry called it easily "the most outlandish press conference ever held by a team of lawyers representing the President of the United States" wasn't so much Giuliani's largely debunked conspiracy theories or his bad Joe Pesci imitation from "My Cousin Vinnie." Rather it was when what appeared to be hair-dye dripping down his face caused by the heat of the television lights.

"Giuliani encountered something that most people who dye their hair with cheap products learn early on: sweat will cause the dye to leak. And it's not going to be pretty," reports The Wrap.

This is the latest of public relations snafus that the former New York mayor has experienced in the past few weeks. First he was caught with his pants down when pranked by Sacha Baron Cohen in the actor's latest Borat film; then when he hosted a similarly bizarre press conference in a Philadelphia parking lot outside a landscaping company located between a crematorium and a porn store. The reason why the location was chosen was never revealed, but it was said to be a mistake on Giuliani's part, having confused the Four Seasons Total Landscaping, located in an industrial park near an interstate highway, with the posh Four Seasons Hotel, located in the inner city.
