It's a good time to be a "RuPaul's Drag Race" fan!

Logo revealed Wednesday that the popular drag queen competition show will return for a ninth season, Variety reports. The announcement comes weeks before the second season of "RuPaul's All Star Drag Race" debuts and just days after the series picked up two Emmy nominations.

"Season 9 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' will be bigger, better and more twisted than ever," RuPaul, host and exec producer, told Variety. "Thank you, Logo, for continuing to provide a powerful platform for these brave, gorgeous and creative souls to tell their stories. They represent the hopes and dreams of all the outsiders around the world."

"Drag Race" earned an Emmy nod for RuPaul as outstanding reality host and another for costume design. After his win, the Supermodel of the World tweeted: "I dedicate this Emmy nomination to outsiders everywhere. Brave souls who stick to their dreams and make the world a more colorful place."

A date for "Drag Race" Season 9 was not announced, however. "All Stars" Season Two airs on August 25 on Logo.

The network also recently announced it is currently developing a "Bachelor"-style gay dating show called "Finding Prince Charming." It will be hosted by former N*SYNC member Lance Bass and is scheduled to premiere in the fall.
