Hillary Clinton Named Grindr's 'Straight Ally of Year'

Although Hillary Clinton has yet to announce whether or not she will run for President of the United States, she has already won the votes of gays on the social network hook-up app Grindr, who named her their "Straight Ally of the Year," in the app's third annual Best Of Awards.

Gay Star News reports that Grindr users took time from their busy pants-dropping schedule to vote the former Secretary of State as their personal "Best Of." The Biggest Prediction for 2015 was "Hillary Clinton Announces Presidential Candidacy." Okay, we'll give you that one, Grindr.

Neil Patrick Harris was voted "Gay Icon of the Year," for his marriage to David Burtka, his Tony win for "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" plus his two movies, memoir and Oscar hosting stint.

"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest was voted "Most Likely to Come Out in 2015." Don't Grindr users know that he's totally, completely straight? And Vladimir Putin was fittingly named "Enemy of the LGBT Community."

Singer Sam Smith nabbed two wins for "Best Coming Out Story" and "Best Song of 2014."

Pink News reports that Smith said, "We're losing the art of conversation and being able to go and speak to people and you're swiping people. From my experience the most beautiful people I've been on dates with are the dumbest, so why would I swipe people who are 'unattractive' when I could potentially fall in love with them? Stop Tinder and Grindr!"

In an earlier report Pink News said that while a majority of Grindr users would happily vote for Hillary, most agreed that John F. Kennedy was the hottest president. Despite being long dead, he even beat out swimsuit photos of President Barack Obama by a massive 64 percent.

Grindr said: "We can't blame them, JFK was a hottie, but we've all looked at that shirtless pic of Barack on the beach... and we were impressed."
