Libby Phelps, a former member of the "God Hates Fags" Westboro Baptist Church and granddaughter of the group's late founder, Fred Phelps, is the latest notable person to pose for the iconic NOH8 campaign Tuesday, Gay Star News reports.

"The message is simple: No hate. We want people to be happy, healthy and hopeful," she tweeted on June 10 and included an image of her with "NOH8" painted on her cheek and silver duct tape over her mouth.

Libby Phelps was born into the WBC but left the anti-gay church because the members' views became more extreme. Since leaving, she's completely denounced WBC's beliefs and is working on a book about her experiences.

WBC's founder Fred Phelps died in March after reportedly being ex-communicated for his changing views on the LGBT community.

In May, Zach Phelps-Roper, the grandson of Fred Phelps, made headlines for also abandoning the church due to WBC's members' horrible views.

"I believe that empathy and unconditional love are what is absolutely necessary for us to free ourselves and each other from mind traps and from the many problems that are plaguing our society," the 23-year-old told the Topeka Capital-Journal. He also said he's received support from the LGBT community and that he no longer feels the same about gay people.

"After I left the church I met some homosexual men who were very kind to me, and I was taken aback," he said. "I met this guy at Olive Garden one night with my sister and he offered to pay for my entire dinner and I was so taken aback... I was like, 'I don't know what to say,' so I said, 'No, no, let me do that, I'll just pay for that, I've got it.'"

Celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley created the NOH8 campaign as a response to the passage of California's Proposition 8 in 2008. Everyone from Cindy McCain, Larry King, Josh Hutcherson, Weird Al Yankovic and Kathy Griffin has posed for an NOH8 photo.
