On Cinco De Mayo there were a lot of parties around town, but Rumors was the only one to celebrate with a Mariachi Band and a pi�ata drop, which was lots of fun! On Tuesday Village Pub presented live from Key West, Christopher Peterson, in Eyecons with Christopher becoming so many characters I couldn't keep track. Later that night, Feel It Tuesdays, at Vibe Las Olas, featured guest hostess Noel Leon along with music by DJ Maximus 3000. Wednesday started the 3rd annual Beach Bear Weekend and all weekend long there were sexy bears all over town.
On Thursday Deliver The Dream, presented their 2nd annual "Red Hot & In Style," a Bachelor and Bachelorette auction for the LGBT community which took place at Manor and once again was a success and raised thousands of dollars for needy families. Later that night was the beginning of a weekend long celebration of Sidelines 8th anniversary. Friday was the gay night for "Becoming Dr. Ruth," at the Parker Playhouse starring Debra Jo Rupp with the VIP meet and greet with Debra right after the performance. Also Friday ight was the annual Save DADE Champions of Equality Dinner.
Saturday Night Discotekka celebrated the birthday of Mama Bear, Alyson Thomas. Lots of Alyson's friends came out to celebrate with her and the VIP was hopping! Since May 2nd Miami has featured the 16th annual Gay and Lesbian Film Festival with tons of films and many events throughout the city. Congrats to Marky G and the entire crew on another successful festival!

Alibi starts its 17th anniversary weekend of events tonight and honors "National Give Out Day" with anyone giving at least $10 receives a free Alibi shirt as well as other goodies.
Shardee Ross presents the Mr. Village Pub Contest starting at 8pm. Contact Shard� or the bar for entry information. They will be giving away $1000.00 in cash/prizes/bookings.
From today until May 21st the Pride Factory is giving away a gift with the purchase of any Twerk brief or boxer.

The Ramrod presents their monthly Mandance starring DJ/Producer Herbie James.
Alibi continues its 17th anniversary weekend of events with special guest Roxy C.Moorecox performing fresh off her London tour. She will be singing live and impersonating Adele this evening, in addition to other celebrities. Roxy has been known to impersonate Liza Minnelli, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton... even Adam Lambert.
The Boardwalk will be celebrating the birthday of Fabscout owner and my good friend Howard Marr. Come out and celebrate as there are bound to be lots of sexy video boys there.

Epic Saturdays at The Manor presents another Super Epic night! In the Ballroom catch the official After Cher Concert starring the one and only Tracy Young taking over the turntables. In the Ivy Lounge and Patio, Noche Latina Florida will be celebrating their 16th anniversary (Sweet 16) on at Noche Latina Saturdays. The night will star hostess Viva Mirage and special guests Erika Norell and Taina Norell (Miss Noche Latina 2014) along with Maestra DJ Nena. They will feature over $1,600 in raffles, cash and prizes as well as HOT Latin Go-Go Papi's and many special surprises.
Alibi continues its 17th anniversary weekend of events at 7 pm when the management will be giving rings to employees who have worked five years at Alibi. Congratulations to the ring recipients: David Haynes, David Rodriguez, Byron Richardson, Stuart Berg, Ron Cox, Helder Gurgel, Eric Nyman, and Ryan Deutscher. Also being presented are the Alibi Star Awards, to exemplary employees (their identities will be kept a secret until the night of the awards). Come see the awards and get your Alibi anniversary T-shirt! If you wear a T-shirt from a previous year, you'll win prizes! Jennifer McClain will be singing in the Manchester Room at 8, 9 and10 p.m.
Rumors presents the Black and Blue Party at 10 pm which is a benefit to help send Mr. Ramrod, Kirk, to compete at International Mr. Leather in Chicago. $1 of every drink purchase will be donated to Kirk. They will also be featuring a spanking booth in the Red Room and a $100 Big Bulge contest at 1 am.

Stache, 1920's Drinking Den (109 SW 2nd Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale) presents the Grand Opening of Fire Island Disco Sundays from 6pm to 1 am with no cover. The night stars DJ Scott Mann along with performances by Kitty Meow, Velvet LeNore and Deja Devonier. For more information call 954-449-1044.
Closing out the Alibi Anniversary weekend of events is the legendary Sherry Vine, who has come down from New York City just to help Alibi celebrate its birthday. She will bring her cutting wit and her penchant for hilarious spins on your favorite songs to the main stage with one performance only, at 9p.m.

Victor Zepka and the Boardwalk brings back the Sleazy's (Sleazy Awards) that once again will be hosted by Russell (Stable), Daisy Deadpetals and the one and only Toni Barone. The theme is Trailer Trash Formal with the silent auction beginning at 6 and the awards at 8pm. The Sleazy's is a fundraiser for Sunserve.

Stonewall Street Festival Announces Headliner
The wonderful Sheila E. was announced as the headliner for Stonewall Street Festival. This is the Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter behind the seminal hits "The Glamorous Life" and "A Love Bizarre." Sheila is a fearless multi-instrumentalist, as well as an Actress, Mentor, and Philanthropist. These career checkpoints all converge in 2014 with two new Sheila E. projects. She just released her first album in 13 years, the aptly titled "Icon" (Stiletto Flats). Leading the charge is first single, "Mona Lisa." Then the indefatigable multi-talent will add author to her list of accomplishments with Simon & Schuster's September publication of her autobiography, "The Beat Of My Own Drum."
