Popups :: Gettin' Nude, Gettin' Rude

Bathing suit season is right around the corner, so it only seems right that two major stars got in the buff this week to show off their goods.

James Franco made more headlines recently for his sexcapades and selfies than he has for his new film "Palo Alto" or starring on Broadway's "Of Mice and Men." Early Friday morning Franco popped an almost nude pic (his hand is covering the goodies) to his infamous Instagram account. Unfortunately, the semi-nudie has been deleted, as Jezebel notes. It may have been at the hands of the evil Instagram admins who do not allow nudity on the social media app, or maybe the pic was supposed to be sent to another 17-year-old girl.

Franco isn't the only celeb to show off their goods this week. Rihanna shocked fans when she posed tastefully topless on the cover of French magazine, Lui. The spread inside the mag found Riri showing off her bottom because the French just don't give a fuck when it comes to nudity.

The beautiful Barbados singer posted the pics to Twitter, where 35.1 million people follow her, on April 29. The shots, taken by famous photographer Mario Sorrenti, were also posted on her Instagram account, but, as the British newspaper the Mirror reports, they have been taken down.

Alright pervos enough nudies. Let's talk about Donald Sterling's dumbass.

The (not-for-long) owner of Los Angels Clippers came under fire this week after a recording of him spewing a racist rant was published by TMZ last weekend. Before the 80-year-old Sterling could remember what year it was, NBA commissioner Adam Silver brought down his silver hammer, banning Sterling for life and slapped him with a $2.5 million fine for the remarks.

And you know what they say: "When it rains, its pours."

Sources now tell ESPNand the New York Post that Sterling has been battling prostate cancer for a while. Who knows if it's true, or if we'll ever know, since the former lawyer and businessman has remained silent since the scandal broke out.

Speaking of being elusive, Mariah Carey has a new album coming out, and it has the most Mariah Careyest title ever: "Me. I am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse." Her fourteenth studio album drops May 27 and features collaborations with Miguel, Nas, Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, Wale, Fabolous and Mariah and Nick Cannon's twins. Watch out Blue Ivy, Morccan and Monroe are coming for you.

Finally, let's end this off with some Jennifer Lawrence updates, who once again proves to be the one celebrity you want to be BFFs with. According to Page Six, during a recent taping of "Late Night with Seth Myers" J-Law, 23, revealed what went down at Madonna's Oscars after party when she had a tad too much to drink.

"Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna's after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, 'Get it together, girl!'" an audience member told Page Six.

You know you've had a good night when Miley and her tongue tell you to "get it together." But in reality, J-Law is probably a really fun drunk. And she loves pizza. Those are pretty much the only qualities I look for in a best friend.

But on the other hand, those qualities apparently do not please Lindsay Lohan, who called out J-Law in an interview with Kode magazine (via Elite Daily). Lohan said J-Law "fucks for roles" and that she's "fake."

I guess Lawrence won't appear on season two of the Oprah produced docu-series "Lindsay" oh wait, that's because it was canceled.

Bonus: Check out Kanye West looking miserable on vacation with soon-to-be wife Kim Kardashian in this new / old photo via the Daily Mail. If you're a Kanye fan this line from "Bound 2" should have automatically came to you: "I'll turn the plane 'round, your ass keep complainin' / How you gon' be mad on vacation? / Dutty wining 'round all these Jamaicans."
