Production company Rude T.ee V.ee is holding Kiss Me Low, a Valentine's Day Lesbian Singles Mixer at Stonewall Bar in New York City on Saturday, February 15. The event will be hosted by Trouble, with a performance by Foxy Squire, and is intended for women to network and possibly find romance.

"I want to create a space for hard-working women to relax and meet other women with a like mind," said Rude T.ee V.ee founder and lead event coordinator DaRuddest Jones. "I hope SOMEONE has a love connection and leave knowing that they are not alone in the world of grind."

Jones said that the production company holds independent events and assists other groups with their events. Their specialty is showcases. The mixer is sponsored by Malani Darden, Jag&Co and Unheard Voices Magazine.

"We try to give artists an opportunity to be seen and have exposure," said Jones. "We actually have a yearly showcase entitled, 'Memoirs Of A Starving Artist.' With that event we supply artists with professional photography, professional videography, exposure, opportunity and paid events, free training and media coverage."

Rude T.ee V.ee events are open to everyone 23 years old and up, and no reservations or RSVPs are necessary. Jones said she began working on the event because she was single, and tired of being invited to parties, as she said, "I HATE parties." She asked followers and friends if they would be interested in an event that wasn't a party, and the positive response overwhelmed her.

"I did it for them as well as for me," said Jones. "I also concluded that many of the grinding women that I know have no interest in parties and don't take much time to focus on their love lives. I fell victim to that for a few years. It's so hard for us to find others who understand the grind. And I figured I would create a space that is focused on those women."

Kiss Me Low will bring women together from 5-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street for a night of mixing and mingling, with a performance by Foxy Squire. The cover is $10/ two-drink minimum; the first ten ladies get free admission.

Jones is also working on another event for March, at an art gallery in Brooklyn. There will be a masseuse, performances, vendors, music and a fashion show.
