Accused Walmart Prostitute Accepts Plea Deal

This spring, in an effort to offset the sometime negative image it has received, Walmart launched a new advertising campaign called "The Real Walmart" aimed to demonstrate among other things, how the company provides tremendous career opportunities for its associates.

In the case of one former employee, the career opportunity he saw provided by Walmart, was in a men's room during his overnight shifts, which lead to his arrest for prostitution for allegedly "soliciting sexual encounters" inside the big box store.

According to a statement released by New York State Police

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Queensbury arrested Foster M. Bills age 22 of Stony Creek, NY for the Class B-Misdemeanor of Prostitution after the investigation revealed that Bills was soliciting sexual encounters at his place of employment.

The statement goes on to assert that State Police were contacted by the management of the Queensbury Walmart after having received an anonymous complaint of a male subject performing sexual acts in a secluded location within the establishment.

The "secluded location" used by Bills for encounters turned out to be a mens room inside the Walmart where he worked. According to police, Bills solicited meetings with would-be clients through the "m4m casual encounters" section of Craigslist, and arranged to meet them during his breaks while working overnight shifts.

A subsequent police sting operation resulted in Bills's arrest when he agreed to perform a sex act for an undercover officer for money. On April 23, Bills was charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor. According to The Smoking Gun, a Queensbury Town Court case history report shows that Bills pleaded guilty last month to a reduced count of disorderly conduct.

"We're appalled that something like this could be happening in one of our stores," said Kayla Whaline, a spokesperson for Walmart. Whaling stated that Bills was suspended pending an investigation with the company, adding that Walmart had cooperated with State Police providing them with information throughout their investigation.

Walmart apparently wasn't the only rent-free bordello Bills was using in his prostitution enterprise. During their investigation into the Walmart complaint, police uncovered another Craig's List posting placed by Bills that insinuated a request for cash for similar services rendered at the nearby Crandall Public Library that read

quicky and crandal (sic)- m4m - 22 (restroom)

I head to the rest room wait for u pants down and bent over toilet.
No waiting no names no risk. Just be clean and D free.
Bring condoms if you like but not necessary (sic).
I do have lube higher gratuity head of the line.

Crandall Public Library Executive Director Kathy Naftaly said the library's staff was not aware of any issues there related to the case.

Bills, was ordered by a judge to pay a total of $325 in fine and court surcharges.
