Share the Bike Love with Denmark - and Win a Trip to Copenhagen
Mark Thompson READ TIME: 2 MIN.
COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Rain or shine, in high heels or flats, more than 50 percent of all Copenhageners bike to work or school every day. In Denmark, that's how they roll. There's a big, soft spot in most Danish hearts for the bicycle. For the Danes, life is simply better on two wheels.
Now, you're invited to share the bike love, too! Find one of VisitDenmark's dedicated street teams in New York City and come show off your set of wheels.
During Bike Month and in various locations though out the city, you can have your photo taken with your bike and your favorite 'share the bike love' sign.
VisitDenmark will upload the photos they snap on VisitDenmark's Facebook page for public voting, with chances to win great prizes, including a trip for two to Copenhagen - the bike capital of the world!

Not in New York? Or just simply want to tell your own bike story? Strike a pose with your wheels (and feel free to get creative; the photo should simply be a declaration of your bike love) and upload it to the Share the Bike Love tab on www.facebook.com/denmark.
The photo with the most votes will win a trip to Copenhagen, including airfare on SAS Scandinavian Airlines (departing from New York, Washington, DC or Chicago), a free bike rental when you land, plus accommodations for three nights provided by the Scandinavian hotel chain, Scandic.
The competition is now open for photo entries.
On June 26, 2012, submissions will close and voting period is from June 27-August 10.
Contestants can share their love of bikes with their friends on Facebook and call out to cast their votes for best picture.
