Gay Club Owner ID'd as Victim in Atlanta Shooting

Police have identified a man found shot dead in the middle of a street in Atlanta following a possible carjacking.
The man is identified as 50-year-old Durand Robinson. The Decatur man was co-owner of the popular gay nightclub Traxx and an organizer of the city's popular black gay pride celebration.
Witnesses tell Atlanta police he had gotten into an argument with someone just before shots rang out. Friends say they believe he may have been the victim of an attempted carjacking, but police say they don't have a motive or suspect.
Atlanta police say a resident called 911 around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to report that she heard a scream and saw a man lying in the street. Police arrived to find the man had been shot in the chest.
